There is no greater regret than not knowing one’s self-worth. Have you ever questioned why you are thinking or feeling in a specific way? You ever been frustrated because your friends or companions couldn’t ever possibly understand you because you don’t even fully understand what is going in your head? The best way to grasp internal turbulence is to write poetry. It decelerates the world down around you. It rationalizes your thoughts to short, direct sentences, while pacify the anxiety out of your body with the passionate style. It makes you think and puts a flashlight on what the problems might be and motivates you to logically and systematically response to it. Poetry can give you insights into yourself that you never knew existed but always interested to understand. There is no greater power than complete understanding of one’s identity, poetry can provide you that power.

One of the hardest things of the recent time is the ability to fully understand one another, misunderstandings and miscommunications create massive amount of frustration. Actually, reading and writing poetry awards people the improved stills to understand others. From a writer’s point of view, you have to be able to deliver the true nature of your writing to an unknown reader. That means you need to diving deep into what parts you want them to understand, what you want them to feel and experience, and what to take home with them that will echo long after reading. For a reader of poetry, it gives you the ability to look into someone else’s eyes, mind and cultivate empathy for another person. People who have difficult time expressing themselves, reading poetry books also can have same positive effect as writing. Reading poetry enable one to see into the soul of another person.
