Raheem Sterling has apparently rejected the offer of a new £70,000-a-week contract at Liverpool, with the club not meeting his wage demands.
Sterling has been in negotiations with the Reds for weeks over a new deal, with the Anfield outfit desperate to tie him down to fresh terms.
But the Daily Telegraph reports that despite Liverpool offering to increase his current £30,000-a-week salary to £70,000-a-week, he’s not happy with those terms.
A source told the paper: ‘it’s nowhere near acceptable.’
