Whether it was about Hudood Ordinance 1979 of Gen Zia or it was about Blasphemy law Of Pakistan, Molvies, regardless of stability or sense of responsibility or logical analysis or knowledge of reality or having concerns for justice, were always there to ignite inferno by blackmailing religious sentiments of masses and hence giving new muscles to radical Islamists to not only inflict chaos but also to challenge the state, in one way or another. And not to mention Molvies act of fueling up loath, antagonism, and victimization of Ahmadis that directly resulted into future radicalization of society, insecurity, injustice, human right violation, and in cooperation amongst masses. All of the said laws were either an act of cajoling the Molvies or they were bespoke tailored designs of Molvies but unfortunately, these laws not only failed in providing justice but a victim also became a criminal because of these laws. For example, from where a woman would have brought four male adult witnesses who had witnessed her being raped and failure in bringing witnesses resulted into her own persecution; one was framed in blasphemy charges without proper primary scientific investigation and hence none had feared any punishment for accusing someone for blasphemy falsely; countrywide Ahmadis were killed and deprived from various human rights since National Assembly of Pakistan bill # 29 of 1974 provided carte blanche to Molvies to do whatever they wanted do with other citizens of Pakistan.
But no Molvi, against an un-Islamic or criminal act of another Molvi, ever created such an uproar that had been created against Hudood Ordinance amendment, Blasphemy law amendment etc. Molvies, in public, not only always had been found demanding Shariah laws in Pakistan but they also criticized secular and liberal life style of majority of Pakistanis but none of such Molvies had ever criticized and prescribed Shariah punishments for Tahir Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council who was not only member of Pakistan Islamic Ideology Council but also had been found drunken for many times even once, on Islamic morals, he gave his Islamic Ruling live on television whilst he was drunk. Previously, IIC of Pakistan gave ruling that act of marrying underage girls, is entirely Islamic.
On the other hand, the United Kingdom, where neither Christians were allowed to persecute any non-Christian nor any priest was allowed either to ignite religious sentiments against other religions or to challenge the state in anyway, was legislating such laws that helped raising social standards whilst providing justice to its citizens. The UK had planned to ban revenge porn otherwise act of posting online pictures or videos of ex-partners, whilst declaring the act criminal and punishment by prison. How ironic that perfect Muslims otherwise Momneen, meanwhile, were busy in destroying and challenging their states, infidels were busy in decorating and protecting their states by being just, logical, and impartial.
Dr R. R. Stewart of the US missionaries and teacher at the Gordon College (Rawalpindi-Pakistan) proposed an idea of Leprosy Hospital in Rawalpindi after seeing a group of lepers who, according to the British Lepers Act 1827, were forbidden to live amongst other healthy people, thus, lepers were separated from the rest of community. The British Leprosy Mission entertained Stewart’s idea and in 1904, the Rawalpindi Leprosy hospital was built and lepers, from all over the British India, used to come to this hospital for treatment. In addition, members of the Christian Missionaries, from all over the world, come and serve in this hospital till date. Now how ironic that Muslim lepers, who were loathed and disowned by their fellow Muslims (even their family left them), were welcomed and hence treated by Christians whom fanatical Islamist wanted to exterminate and against whom Molvies sowed great loath in Pakistani society. Contrary to the Christian missionaries and their services in the fields of education and health, Pakistani religious seminaries produced live ammunition where young children were recruited and hence were brainwashed for suicide bombings, terrorism, sectarianism etc.
Whereas an extremist or retrogressive or racist society becomes a self-destruction mechanism, it also loses various historical opportunities that could add more muscles and stature in a state by being moderate, pragmatic, and progressive. On contrary, any such state, which was destabilised through fanaticism and racism etc, neither had lasted longer nor ever had stood stronger, thus, the entire benefit was brewed only by enemies of the said state. For example,
“But wars also create opportunities for pragmatic visionaries. David Ben- Gurion knew how to exploit the horror of the Holocaust for the independence of Israel. And many nation-states arose after the exposure to the racist abuses of the Second World War. Zionism knew how to exploit the First World War to receive the Balfour Declaration, and the Bolsheviks for the communist revolution [1].
