While there is one usage of this powerful resource is transmission of knowledge-based content which apparently has shown positive-side of internet i.e. online education. The word online is etymologically Greek, which means connected to the internet or present in a moment through internet. While sustainability serves the purpose of saving environment, society and economy as well as the rights of future generations.

Online education is a master resource when it comes to online delivery of lectures, submission of assignments, presentations, research and publications. Cognition and repetition of lectures

Online lectures may have a derivative consequence. As a teacher can assess student’s cognitive ability through their expressions during a face to face lecture. So online lecturing can be an option in virtual learning systems and this option can also work well in unavoidable calamities, for example, sudden break because of extreme weather conditions or in case of any epidemics or pandemics. But if we see another point of cognition, all the students are not of same caliber to understand things, they need repetition to understand concepts and in a practical class a professor needs to teach a bunch in a specific time which makes it sometimes difficult to repeat. In an online video session, one can record the lecture which can be seen again and again as per need of a student.

Education for all

There are lots of people who really want to study but because of certain life requirements, education become their least priority, electronic learning through internet at that time is very fruitful to enlighten such persons, as it gives flexible timings to get education along with their jobs and other responsibilities.

Reduction in carbon footprints

E- learning is green learning as it reduces the travel cost and carbon footprints of a person by decline in the carbon emissions, wrapped in the form of fuel for transportation. According to a blog published in quick class;

It’s the diversity in opinions that make this world a beautiful place. Just like in case of library and internet. People may have different point of view. But one thing is sure that the coming time is a time of digitalization. It is up to us how we can use this in favor of human and its environment. One cannot deny the importance of schools, but one cannot deny that these schools can use the online systems to reduce lots of paper burden and storage issues. It is the collective responsibility of individuals and organizations to adopt sustainable measures for a better future for all of us.
