A detox is a great way to get rid of toxins from your body. Detoxifying your body helps to increase the pace of your metabolism and improves your overall health. A healthy mind and a healthy body is a dream of every individual. To get these, every person should undergo seasonal detox for the proper functioning. Detoxing occurs when the quantity of inflammatory drinks and foods that you consume reduces, and liver gets the chance to work against already present toxins in the body.
Detox becomes necessary when the metabolic waste produced as a result of normal human metabolism and environmental pollution exceeds the limit that the human body’s detoxification system can tolerate. Even though detox may sound like a normal physiological process, detox affects both the body and mind in a positive way. In terms of psychology, a human being takes one to two weeks to process wheat, sugar and alcohol and gets them out from the system. This of course, takes place if the person is not adding too much sugar, wheat and alcohol during detoxifying process.
Our lives are fast paced. Most of us have strict working schedules. We fail to follow proper detox plans. Just a few minor changes in lifestyle could help you to get rid of toxins.
Consume lots and lots of water! Role of water for your body is similar to the role of gas for the car. If you are giving small amount of gas to your car, it will only run efficiently for short duration. Similarly, if you want your liver to process toxins properly, water is very essential. For an average adult, 1 gallon of water is beneficial. You can drink lemon in hot glass of water, it flush out toxins.

Caffeinated drinks like tea or coffee can do more harm than good to your body. Replace them with green tea.
You will automatically pee if you are consuming 1 gallon of water per day. How peeing helps to detoxify? Sweating and peeing are the two methods that allow the person to physically get rid of the fats from the body. Fats store the toxins in the human body. The more you pee, the more toxins and fats eliminate from the body. Like said before, peeing and sweating are the ways to remove stored toxins and fats from the body. Yoga is the best option that allows you to sweat and relax at the same time.
Don’t be static! You need to do Pilates, jogging, yoga or simply walk. The goal is to get the flow of blood going that will help you in removing toxins out of the body. You don’t need to do intensive exercise as it causes the inflammation of your body.

Eat less and eat clean. Ideally, you need to reduce the consumption of wheat, alcohol and sugar from your daily diet. This will prevent the inflammation of your body and will allow the liver to focus on processing inflammatory foods. Simply, eliminate foods from your diet that come in bag, box, jar or can.

Most of us work day and night to have a luxurious and comfortable life and to secure our future. We take no time for rest and relaxation. Our liver works best when the body is in sleep mode. So allow your body to relax.
Yogurt is a superfood, which is an essential source of probiotics, contains good bacteria that helps improve digestive issues and cleanses your digestive tract. Make sure you add yogurt or curd to your daily diet.
It helps to improve blood circulation in your body, renewal of cells by removing dead skin cells and improves lymphatic drainage.
Detoxing is not just a physiological process. You need to detoxify your mind. Think elegantly and remove negative thoughts from your mind. Mediation is the best way to clear your mind.
