On Monday, Montana Judge G. Todd Baugh presided over Pacer Anthony Ferguson’s sentencing. Baugh ordered Ferguson to six months in jail for an assault, as well as ordering him to write “boys will not hit girls” 5,000 times.

According to Gawker, Ferguson was in court because he punched his girlfriend in her face. Her face ended up being fractured in three places.

Ferguson, who was convicted of misdemeanor assault, was also ordered to pay $3,800 in restitution.

According to IBI Times, Ferguson will have to return the letter to Baugh by May 23.

According to Opposing Views, Ferguson appeared before Baugh twice on Monday, and he was also sentenced to eight years in prison for violating his terms of release in an attempted robbery back in 2003.

Judge Todd Baugh has made the news in the past when he handed down a Montana high school teacher a light sentence because he said the student that the teacher raped appeared older than her chronological age.
