Liverpool face stiff competition if they are to secure the signing of highly-rated youngster Martin Odegaard.

The 15-year-old has been doing a whistle-stop tour of Europe as he trains with numerous top clubs in search of a deal.

Having already impressed at Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, Odegaard has now been training with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

And German newspaper TZ are reporting Pep Guardiola’s side are in pole position to secure the Norwegian’s signature, despite strong interest from Real Madrid.

He is reportedly next due to train with Ajax in the New Year, with around 30 different clubs keeping a close eye on his progress.

Odegaard will turn 16 next week.
