The goal was the Serbian’s sixth of the season and his fourth in his last six outings, having also found the back of the net against Liverpool, Aston Villa and Paris Saint-Germain.

It’s an incredible run of goals from a man who starts each game in the back four – so much so, he’s just one Premier League strike away from matching Fernando Torres’ domestic record for Chelsea.

Admittedly, Torres didn’t enjoy a great run of form during his three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge.
