Samsung and Apple have chooses very different designs. Where the iPhone is a smooth and made of glass whereas the Galaxy S5 is an uneasy merger of soft touch plastic and hard plastic edges. those are painted and look like metal. It makes the phone uneasy to hold for long periods. But iPhone 6 is a grip able, small and light phone that makes the phone secure from damage.

One thing that Samsung Galaxy S5 is water resistant phone- that of course does not mean that you should keep this phone under water for a long period of time.

The iPhone 6 uses an IPS LCD screen. These screens are superior at brightness, viewing angles and colour accuracy. Colour accuracy is better on the iPhone 6 than it is on the S5. But when it comes to dark scenes, Samsung S5 is good. The iPhone 6 has a great contrast ratio for LCD screen.

By comparison iPhone’s have kept connectivity way but the iPhone 6 comes with a more inclusive list of 4G/LTE networks as compared to the Galaxy S5. i OS 8 also adds some great connectivity features.

The iPhone 6 has more connectivity than any iPhone before it but it still doesn’t match the Galaxy S5.

Rather than resting your finger on the scanner you are forced to wipe it over the button which is tricky when using it one handed. It’s also a lot more sensitive to the direction of your finger or thumb so you’ll often need multiple attempts to unlock.

In real world term, however, the iPhone 6 is smooth and responds very quickly and feels faster by daily use than S5. With processing power some of this nothing to do but with software its do lots. S5 uses Android but its own interface layer “TouchWiz” has edited it heavily.

By using regularly you will notice this software layer completes action in very little time.

We have already mentioned the Galaxy S5’s TouchWiz interface. Apps like ChatON, S Health and S Voice are not good as Google Play Store apps that do the same things very efficiently. Air View that control the phone with gestures create disturbance.
But One good TouchWiz characteristic is Mutli Window that enables you to open more than one apps on your screen. If you love multitasking you will enjoy this feature.

In S5, there are a lots of unpleasant features but few are necessary.

Its bigger pixel size can handle dull situations much better. If you like taking pictures in bars or restaurant, you will prefer this.

Both phones have HDR mode which captures number of photos for better result. The HDR mode of iPhone 6 is better again, its capture good color accuracy and background like cloudy sky. Both phones have very solid cameras but iPhone is good for capturing better photos.

We have mentioned that the iPhone 6 is costly but how costly?
The 16GB iPhone 6 costs $649, 64GB costs $749 and 128GB costs $849.
But if we compare it with Galaxy S5 its costs $570 only. if we add 128GB microSD card than it price goes to $679 and you will save $280 as compared to iPhone 6.

Both phones have some pros and cons. and which you prefer it will depend on your choice.

If you prefer value and battery life you should buy Samsung Galaxy S5 and if you prefer design you should buy iPhone 6. Best of luck.
