Education- An Ethical Evolution of Society

Education is the process of ethical grooming:

It is intrinsic in smart creatures to learn smart ways. As per Darwin, the evolution had been seen not only morphologically but also rationally. And humans have started developing habits through their actions and as well as gained knowledge through their experiences. These actions at the start were not characterized. For example, anyone can steal, lie, and make concealed affairs, etc.

In a pinhole, one can say ‘a life without rules’ which had taken the ongoing societal progress to menace. After some time as the concept of civilization had developed, the human had sensed the need for code of life. Then they had started characterizing acts as right or wrong. Finally, human has learned, what are the ethical values to live harmoniously in a society? And this set of ethical standards is called education.

With a paradigm of time, and civilization at its peak. History has witnessed that how kings had sent their princes to be educated before their incarnation as emperors. One can easily differ, at that time between your highness and an ordinary person, just because of certain distinguished manners. These manners were the education of that time and were not available from street to street.

Let’s bring the tick-tock of our clocks to a present moment. Now a day, one can see lines of educational institutes, yet comparatively and apparently education is quite handy to get. But let’s be honest, how many educated beings have you seen up till now? Unfortunately, quite a few. Here everyone is running in the marathon of grades, compromising the basic ethical values of life.

It is time to dwindle from idealism and come to reality. Bring your imagination on the canvas of reality, you are going to your school or office, you see heaps of garbage all around. With a little more distance covered, you see the beeping horns and unprecedented lines of vehicles on a two-lane road. You see that temperament is going out of hand and patience is sleeping under the burden of good grades.

You see someone shouting his throat out with harsh words, just to calm out anger on difference in opinions. In terms of education, regretfully it is not wrong to say that we are declining. The most modern man of 21^st century is facing the regression in education. The courtesy is wearing the facade of verbosity and hearts are at the peak of counterfeit on the name of professionalism.

Education merely asks you to learn basic manners to speak right and polite, to be disciplined, and your acts should not be lacerating to other creatures and nature. You must learn the principles of cleanliness. The concept of respect and acceptance of diversity also emanates under education.

Now it is the time to take a plunge. That you are not going to scold your children for getting B in exams, but you will scold them when they will throw wrapper on the street. Education cannot be taught on board, it develops naturally by seeing the actions of others. Let’s be morally strong seniors either we are teacher, parent or a boss. Let’s undo the parameter and bring education as our foremost priority. Let’s respect everyone not only elders. Because whatever you are doing, yours subjugates are going to follow your footsteps. Let’s be responsible, let’s be educated.
