With more than 8 million species of living things on Earth, it is not shocking that nobody knows or has seen them all. And if you wanted to look at 8 million pictures of all the cool animals living on the Earth, it would take around eight years if you spend 30 seconds for each picture and would do it non-stop, without any brakes for eating or sleeping. And with scientists discovering new of rare animal species almost every day, this operation sounds quite unrealistic, right? Here is a list some of the cool and weird animals:

It has beautiful strip marks like a zebra but its abdomen is monochrome colored like a donkey. This makes it so admirable and interesting to look.
Even though they are known for their activity during the day, a select group of okapis are generally active for a few hours at night. They feed on fungi, ferns, buds and leaves, fruits and grasses. Despite their ears being funnily large, they are flexible.

Did you know that a lion can be bred with a tiger to get a pleasant offspring? Yes! you read it right. Whereas the lion is known for its dexterity and the tiger for its power, a combination of the two gives an amazing animal known as a liger.

Scientists have been able to showcase record-breaking, surprising, and weird adaptations of the star-nosed mole. Despite sporting a more sensitive touch organ, star-nosed mole also eats very fast as compared to other mammals. It is also the first known mammal to smell underwater. Its brain body interface offers fascinating insights. Their sense of touch mirrors the human sense of sight, and their front legs are shovels which helps them in digging deep.
