Barbara Walters named Amal Clooney the most fascinating person of 2014 on Sunday night.
The human rights lawyer, formerly known as Amal Alamuddin, captured the heart of actor and known-bachelor George Clooney and married him in September.
Walters called the wedding “perfect,” particularly pointing out Amal’s hat and the wedding dress designed by the late Oscar De La Renta, according to ABC News.
Several fascinating people’s names already came out earlier this week including when ABC announced Taylor Swift, Michael Strahan and philanthropist David Koch to be featured on her special “The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014.”
