MANILA, Philippines- Actress Angel Locsin has donated her vintage muscle car to add funds for various relief efforts for the survivors of Supertyphoon “Yolanda” (international name: Haiyan).

Locsin made the announcement on a recent episode of “Kris TV,” the early morning daily talk show of Kris Aquino on ABS-CBN, or the Kapamilya channel.

Locsin donated her 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, one of the first muscle cars from the Detroit-based company, to the Sagip Kapamilya Foundation with auctioneering website Shop & Share handling the bidding for the automobile.

According to Top Gear Philippines, the black Chevelle was in near-mint condition, sporting white strips and a white interior.

The muscle car is fully tax-paid and is registered with the Land Transportation Office’s main branch in Diliman, Quezon City.

Locsin’s original plan was for the car to be sold to a direct buyer but she decided later on that it be auctioned off with the proceeds going to Sagip Kapamilya.

Besides the car, Locsin has also auctioned off several hand bags and shoulder bags in the auctioning website.
