2015 was a banner year for Japanese tourism. The country surged to over 19.73 million visitors, up almost 48 percent over 2014’s figures. With all this new interest in this ancient land, many are watching the profits roll in. This has helped their economic standing and the renewed interest in this area. The Japanese are known for being hospitable and welcoming to their guests. The renewed interest in their country is helping the locals to feel a sense of pride in a land they love. Unlike Israel and Paris who are showing looming numbers in their tourism numbers, Japan is slated for even bigger numbers for 2016. So why are so many people flocking to this country, here are just a few reasons?

1. The Food Is Out of This World
2
Sure, there are many countries that have good food, but many say you have not lived until you have tried a Yebisu (Japenese Bear)and Tonkatsu. The Japanese food you get in American Cultures is not even close to the authentic cuisines that are served in this country. Many people truly don’t know what their food is really like until they visit. There are numerous sushi bars, as sushi is a staple here. Bara Shiraishi is very much like the entrees served in American versions of Japanese Restaurants, but that is as close as it gets. Many dine on the Wako Tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) or the Anago Baraage-Don (salt water eel.) Those who have a flair for diverse eating enjoy what the locals have to offer. The food is beautiful in both presentation and taste.

2. A Ride on The Shinkansen (Bullet Train)

When traveling to a foreign land, getting around the city is always something that is of a major concern. In Japan, getting around is a breeze. The Bullet Train is one of the best ways to travel and see the city without long lines and huge fares. This train goes so fast that some say it feels like your flying more than riding on a rail. It’s speed reaches around 300 kilometers per hour. The fast and aerodynamic design of the unit is an adventure ride in and of itself. Of course, there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the city too. There are bike rental booths all over the place and then many people just walk.

3. High Tech Gadgets and Gizmos

Everyone knows that Japan is a leader of the technological craze. Visiting the country gives people a sneak peak of toys and other gizmos that haven’t made it around the world yet. Going to the restroom here can be a high-tech experience. The toilets, in many areas, have numerous buttons and even offer washing cycles. They are called wash-lets and until a person has experienced these, they don’t know what they are missing. The toy market here is out of this world. To see what the next gadget that kids will be fighting over will be, many take a trip to this country.

The Land of Adventure

There are so many things that draw people to Japan. The Japan tours allow people to see the exciting sites and hear the historical significance behind them. The architecture here is breathtaking and it’s certainly photo worthy. Many come to see the ancient mountains of Mount Fuji or to gaze at the snow covered peaks of Mount Hotaka. The hotels here are welcoming to guests and the big cities like Tokyo and Yokohama are ready for the masses. The locals are friendly and everything about this country makes people want to see and do more. There are many types of insurance to ensure one’s stay is perfect. Why not see why so many are coming to this land for their vacation?
