According to multiple sources, the Blank Space singer is planning to formally protect her prized body parts before she heads off on her global tour in May. This may seem like a lot, considering Heidi Klum insured her own legs for just $2 million. But anyone doubting whether the 25-year-old pop star’s perfect pins are worth quite so much moolah need only check them out during her recent shopping excursion in West Hollywood.

While Swift is reportedly “embarrassed” by the hefty price tag, the Grammy winner attributes much of her international success to her energetic performances, and the insurance will serve as protection against any potentially career-threatening accidents. “It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something was to happen to her legs, Taylor wouldn’t be able to give her signature stage performances,” a source told the National Enquirer. “She thought her legs were possibly worth a million.
