KABUL: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has felicitated President Hamid Karzai on the auspicious occasion of the 95th Independence Day of Afghanistan.
Nawaz Sharif in a letter sent to the Afghan president extended greetings and sincere good wishes to the people and the government of Afghanistan.
“Pakistan and Afghanistan are bound by an abiding relationship—based on solidly on common faith, cultural affinities, and shared history. These indissoluble bonds are reinforced by our common aspirations for peace, stability and prosperity,” said Nawaz Sharif.
He has also expressed his hopes for further consolidation of the cordial relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
