India has stooped to new lows by doctoring syllabi used in Indian schools. Indian schoolkids are to be infected with the extremist ,hard line Hindutva ideology of Akhand Bharat promoted by the RSS which is India’s equivalent of the Ku Klux Klan.
Dinanath Batra is a retired school teacher and the founder of an organisation called Shiksha Bachao Andolan Samiti and he definitely needs to see a psychiatrist for his propensity to scribble megalomaniacal fantasies. Batra has strong Hindutva leanings and positions himself as an educationist, he is demanding a complete overhaul of the Indian school system , he has sent proposals to minister Smriti Irani. Batra also ,a few months ago forced Penguin India to withdraw a book on Hinduism by a US academic. He denies links with the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh but his demands are being seen as an attempt to saffronise school education to please Modi.
He is bringing rishi – munis/sages and seers, dev-daanav /deities and demons and heroes of ancient India into the limelight ,these books are trying to conform to the Bharatiya sanskriti without mentioning or acknowledging the 1000 years of Muslim Mughal rule in India and their achievements and rich culture. Batra has also recommended a lot of cow feeding and reciting of mantras while rejecting Western culture.
Since Modi’s advent into power , India is firmly set in a retrogressive ,hawkish mode. Modi’s pipe dreams have exceeded all limits this time as he promotes the unreal and fake ideology of Akhand Bharat. There was nothing remarkable about Modi’s childhood except that he was attracted to the RSS and he had no scruples , this later helped him grow politically.Disregarding the stark reality that the world’s economic superpower China is a neighbor,while Pakistan is the world’s 5th nuclear power , the Indian leader persists in making a fool out of himself and is bent on confusing millions of Indian schoolchildren who will have a hard time reconciling with the fact that India is the world’s poorest country yet dreams of conquering all of its neighbors.
India accounts for the world,s poorest nation, said the World Bank last year. It is predicted that the population of India will surpass the population in China by 2025, even now 60% of the world’s poor are Indian. Modi’s India is a retrogressive country pushed back into intolerance and fascism , his popularity cannot last long as there is no way he can provide half a million jobs every year or a good economy with the fastest growing population in the world.
These latest Indian pipe dreams will not be received agreeably even by the United States as their foreign policy seeks to achieve a balance in this region and they don’t want a large , uncontrollable India. So ,with China waiting in the wings to attach entire Indian provinces ,and the United States anxious to contain India within its boundaries , these pipe dreams will only expose the Indian government as dangerously unhinged.
Batra served as the General Secretary, Vidya Bharat ,a school network run by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh/ RSS. Dinanath Batra has strong connections with Narender Modi and all these wild schemes to overhaul the education system of India are under direct orders from the Indian PM. Out of the nine books introduced in Gujarat’s schools and published by the Gujarat State School Textbook Board, eight are by Dina Nath Batra, national executive of the RSS education wing, Vidya Bharat. These books introduce Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar as erstwhile parts of undivided India or Akhand Bharat / Greater India.
All this has been prescribed as supplementary literature in Indian schools.
Batra had the ultimate approval from Narendra Modi and he was on a roll indulging in his fantasies.
Batra claims he has ‘no connection’ with Modi but it was Modi’s generous endorsement of Dinanath’s hysterical text books, that made the Gujarat State Board of Education include them in the supplementary reading list for students back then.
All this while there are many major insurgencies in India, such as the Naxalites that are active in 40% of India’s land area running almost a parallel government , so much so that it is called the Red Corridor. Naxalism affects 170 out of India’s 602 districts. The Indian army is fighting a freedom movement in Kashmir and is dealing with multiple ethno-separatist movements in the northeast region of India surrounded by China and Bangladesh.
The Naxalite problem is in certain respects more serious than the Kashmir problem. How does Modi and his team of cohorts like Dinnanath Batra , visualize ruling an Akhand Bharat like that of pre-historic times while present day India is strewn with insurgencies?
India, under the leadership of Modi is clearly taking positions against Pakistan in the fields of defence, water terrorism and now most importantly ,the education system of India. Promoting Dinnanath Batra’s books is indeed a chain reaction of Modi against the very existence of Pakistan while glorifying the concept of Akhand Bharat in their schools. On the other hand, Pakistani leaders are wasting time and money on beautification projects for private investors ,not executing a single nation-building project.
The current government’s policies in the fields of defense, water crisis /Bhasha & Kalabagh Dam and in education are badly lacking in vision. It is important to note that these politicians have decentralized the education of Pakistan to the provincial level after 18th Amendment. This has really hurt the foundations of the federal nature of Pakistan’s constitution. Provincial education cannot take care of federal Pakistan.
Meanwhile ,some Pakistani channels in talk-shows seem to be furthering Modi’s propaganda as they discuss the Pakistani education system in a doubtful light , talking about distorted , ‘hateful’ history being taught to our children in schools. These talkshows try to undermine the very foundations of Pakistan ,attacking the Two Nation Theory and making efforts to show the founder of the nation , Jinnah as a person with secular views while all his speeches and quotes vindicate this false claim.
These television channels are trying to rewrite our history and brainwashing the people with lies , even saying that Pakistan did not win the 1965 war with India ,even when international newspapers had carried headlines on Pakistan,s victory and Pakistan army had occupied large areas of Indian territory.
This yellow media is trying to pretend Kargil wasn’t a huge failure for the Indian army and especially , its Air Force as Pakistan army had occupied peaks over Srinagar in Indian Kashmir without the Indians having the faintest clue.
These Pakistani channels have tried to refute the fact that the ideology of Pakistan was La illaha ilallah, it is the only country in the world created in the name of Islam. This is evident from the membership form of the Muslim League , their aim was to create a country in the name of Islam. The propaganda being spread by Pakistani channels can be easily linked to the Indian policies in vogue these days , presenting the Aman ki Asha humbug with a lot of songs as a peace effort whilst it only benefited India. It is time that these media houses and television houses are shut down for good for feeding the public with treason , sedition and lies.
Pakistani media ,and even politicians are sweeping this issue under the carpet which is of prime importance. The role of our politicians is the weakest link , weakening the foundations of Pakistan while siding with the Indian oriented media. Both our government and media have failed Pakistan completely by not protesting with the Indian government about Dinnanath Batra’s books being included in Indian school curriculum.
If this is the new trend , maybe Pakistani kids should be taught about the prophecies of Ghazwa e Hind the final battle where Pakistan re-conquers India , second time after the Mughals.
