Afghan President Hamid Karzai departed Kabul for Brussels on Tuesday morning to attend a trilateral meeting between Afghanistan, Pakistan and the US.
President Hamid Karzai is leading a high level delegation, according to a statement from Karzai’s office.
The main focus of the talks will be the peace process, the Afghanistan and Pakistan relationship including the issue of the border gate built by Pakistani army near the Durand Line in Goshta district of Nagarhar province,” it said.
Afghan officials attending the conference include Foreign Minister Zalmai Rasoul, National Security Advisor Rangin Dadfar Spanta, Chief of Staff to the President Abdul Karim Khurram and Karzai’s spokesman Aimal Faizi.
