In the market for a new laptop to play TitanFall on? Assuming your pockets are deep enough, Razer may have just the machine for you. Yesterday they announced the new iteration of their Razer Blade line and on paper at least, it’s a beast.

The biggest news is the 14″ touchscreen with a 3200×1800 (262 PPI) resolution. It’s an IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) IPS screen which means in addition to being very crisp it should have great colors, a wide viewing angle and be bright enough to use outdoors.

Driving the screen is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 870M with 3 GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM. The CPU is an Intel Core i7-4702HQ Quad Core. Unfortunately the $2,199 base model only comes with 128 GB SSD storage, though you can upgrade to 256 GB for an additional $200, or to 512 GB for an additional $400.

Here’s a teaser video. My favorite part is when they call the Razer Blade “thinner than a dime” when they mean ‘less tall than a dime standing on edge’ but hey, that’s marketing for you!see more
