The remaining four members One Direction have spoken about life after the departure of Zayn Malik and have vowed to carry on for their fans.

Malik, 22, quit in the midst of the group’s On The Road Again tour in March, saying he wanted to live a normal life.

He left behind millions of broken-hearted fans and speculation that the boyband may be about to self-destruct.

But, in an interview from Dubai while bringing their world tour to the Middle East, Louis Tomlinson, 23, scoffed at the idea that Malik’s exit heralded the break-up of the band.

He told The Sun: “All four of us are 100 per cent committed to One Direction.

“We want to thank fans for being so incredible.”

Liam Payne, 21, described recent weeks as “probably the toughest” in their five-year history, adding that the band was “gutted” that Zayn had left.

He added: “But after a few performances as a four-piece, we feel confident and determined to carry on stronger than ever.”.. see more
