Dubai: The outlook for job opportunities in the coming months is an optimistic one, as a new survey has revealed that more than half of employers are planning to hire new staff in the next three months.
“The Middle East’s hiring outlook is looking quite positive, with 64 per cent of employed respondents planning to hire in the next three months; 40 per cent of whom will be hiring for up to five jobs,” said Suhail Masri, Vice President of Employer Solutions at Bayt.com.
The survey, conducted by Bayt.com and YouGov, indicated that the majority of hires will take place in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan – and that their hiring intentions will take place from three months to one year from now.
Data for the Bayt.com Middle East Job Index survey was collected online between June and August 2016, with a total of 2,001 online interviews conducted with respondents from across 14 countries, including the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.
