Half of units at Abu Dhabi’s Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid rented out within a week

Abu Dhabi’s Aldar Properties announced on Thursday it had rented out half of the residential units in the city’s tallest tower – Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid – just one week after it was renamed in honour of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The tower comprises of 474 units over 92 floors in the heart of downtown Abu Dhabi. Tenants were shown one of the three furnished mock up apartments and were offered furniture packages from House of Fraser Abu Dhabi in World Trade Centre Mall. Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, CEO of Aldar Properties commented: “The apartments are a testament to Aldar’s commitment to creating communities in Abu Dhabi and providing premium quality living spaces. Already over 200 units have been rented, reflecting the high demand for this exceptional leasing offering; a mixed-use city center development, located in a prime location, with panoramic views, and direct access to the popular WTC Mall.”

Patrick Bell, general manager for the World Trade Centre adds: “I am overwhelmed at the positive feedback and recognition of the residential units by our customers and I look forward to welcoming our new residents to BMBR at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi.”
