Gems Education will recruit 500 employees for its two schools opening this September in Dubai.

The new schools are opening in Al Khail area and the recruitment is currently underway, Gems said.
“There will be room for approximately 5,000 students once all phases of both schools are complete. The recruitment process is underway for both schools. There will be over 500 staff members employed at both schools once all phases are complete,” Gems Education said in a statement to Emirates24l7.

Earlier this month, Gems announced reversal of its decision to close Westminster School in Dubai which offers education to 5,000 pupils. It had announced closure of Westminster in August 2012, citing inability to hike fees under the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) framework.
The educational group said it’s is opening its fourth Wellington school in September, offering the National Curriculum of England to students in the Primary Years initially, but will grow to year 13 in the coming years.The second school – Gems International – is also slated to open in September and will offer International Baccalaureate programme. It will provide students with an outstanding international education from KG to grade 5 in the first year of operation.
