The ECB has said it was astounded by the improvement that the Indian group has made charges against James Anderson for a “minor” occurrence including Ravindra Jadeja throughout the first Investec Test at Trent Bridge. Accordingly, the ECB said it had told the ICC of its plan to hotel set of accepted rules breaks against Jadeja too.
“James Anderson completely denies the charges made against him and the ECB have vowed their aggregate backing for the player if he be charged by ICC,” the board said in an announcement.
The ECB said the assertions against Anderson were made under Level 3 of the ICC Code of Conduct.
